The Book Warehouse encourages customers to shop with confidence, with the knowledge that we understand there may be times when returning an item purchased via our website may be required and refund warranted.
Before returns are accepted or refunds processed, circumstances are to be assessed by Management.

Damaged or Faulty Items:
The Book Warehouse guarantee that goods sent to customers will be of acceptable quality, fit for the purpose for which they were sold and match the description as shown on our website.
Where goods do not meet our guarantee or goods are faulty, customers may be entitled to a store credit, a refund in relation to the goods purchased or a replacement product of identical or similar value, if reasonably available.
Items must be returned to The Book Warehouse within 30 days of receipt and must be unused, in original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Exceptions to this policy as follow, we do not offer discretionary exchange or refunds on stationery items, educational study aids, Gift Vouchers, special orders, dated Items such as calendars or diaries, Sale Items, CDs or DVDs where the seal or packaging is not intact.
Change of mind:
Requests to return due to ‘change of mind’ must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are not obliged to provide a refund or replacement for a 'change of mind' request and all ‘change of mind’ requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If we do accept your ‘change of mind’ return request, the following terms are applicable:
- Books must arrive at in our store in new condition
- CDs and other items shipped sealed or shrink-wrapped must be returned in original sealed or shrink-wrapped condition.
- Return postage will be paid by the customer.
- Proof of purchase must be provided.
The Book Warehouse does not accept returns of Gift Vouchers under any circumstances.
How long will a solution take?
Once returned items have been received at The Book Warehouse, every effort will be made to process the claim within three business days.
Where a refund is issued, funds may not appear on credit card statements immediately and will be dependent on your credit card provider’s own policy.
